It's not that we don't have a bunch of friends/relationships/kids following us around in Thailand. It's just that with the nature of Con's foundation/my job/the culture here/our speaking Spanish instead of Thai.. well.. ok we don't. And it's definitely not the integrated, dynamic community we had in the Dominican Republic.
So.. with that in mind.. our dear friend Robin, who runs things in the DR, set up some Skype time (her pictures here) with the kids we miss most from last summer.
And Ruben, about whom I will one day publish a short story:
It kills. We hung up and wanted to cry.
